Teacher’s Day 2022
Teachers day program was organized and conducted by Student Nurses Association on 5th September 20202. The event started at around 3 pm in the auditorium. B.Sc. Nursing, DGNM students and staff of Dr. Jeyasekharan College of Nursing participated in the event.
The event started with Prayer song by the college choir. SNA Secretary, Mr. Chris Oxley welcomed the gathering. Teacher’s day message was given by Dr. Sarayu Priya, Principal. Madam briefed about the significance of Teachers day and inspired the students by sharing real life experiences. Students were motivated to aspire more to achieve goals.
Panel discussion by II Year B.Sc. Nursing students reflected the responsibilities of students at various levels of setting. Panel members Ms. Daffney, Ms. Chandrika, Mr. Ashik , and Ms. Arokiya Maha were introduced by the moderator Mr. Vinoth. Each member of the panel contributed their views and expressed the necessity of responsible younger generation for a healthy future. Students were asked to give their views, comments and feedback. Moderator concluded the panel highlighting the views of the panel members. Students participated with full enthusiasm.
I Year B.Sc. Nursing and DGNM students performed a dance and the III year B.Sc. Nursing students dedicated a special song to their teachers. Master of ceremony was by Mr. Suresh Kumar, III Year B.Sc. Nursing student.
Mr. Gladson, SNA Vice President proposed the vote of thanks.
