The B.Sc in Cardiac Technology is a 3-year full time Allied Health course with 1 year compulsory internship.
The students are trained in both Theoretical and Practical aspects of Cardiac Technology.
Cardiac Technology course deals with heart-related problems, diagnostic investigations and therapeutic procedures pertaining to Cardiac Technology.
Cardiac Technologists assist physicians during invasive Cardiovascular testing and in Diagnosis and treatment of Cardiac & Peripheral Vascular conditions.
After graduating, the Cardiac Technologist will be able to assist in the Cardiac team and be an able assistant to any consultant Cardiologist.
On successful completion of the course a Bachelor of Science in Cardiac Technology is awarded by the Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R University.
